Noelle

So today I had the opportunity to take some 1 year old pics for Noelle. She is such a sweetie! She loved the blocks and bubbles, and was a SUPER good model! Thanks Noelle and Mom!

Easter Pics 2011

So I took the boys out on Saturday for their Easter pics one week early. I have learned (from experience) that it is better to NOT try to take easter pictures on Easter. Amidst the chaos of baskets, church, clothes, family, etc. it quickly turns into something "un-pleasant." Anyway, I got the pics I wanted and it actually made for a fun family outing! (I still might try to get someone to take a family shot on Easter :-) Love my boys!!!

Nathan

So this little guy was the BEST! He was so good! I wasn't sure about the wagon (I know my boys would have been trying to get out the entire time!) but Nate loved it! He just sat there and checked things out...thanks for being a great model Nate (and to his mom for coaxing the smiles ;-)

kiddos

Probably the most challenging and fun to shoot...kids really keep you on your toes! I love the unexpected moments...the ones that turn in to great pictures and memories!

families...

Whether it is a special event, a Christmas card, or a holiday, family pics are priceless! Never again will your family be at this stage, so savor every moment!

stills...

So, I love to shoot stills! As opposed to shooting kids, which are constantly on the move, stills are, well, still! It gives you the time to step back and compose at your own pace. Here are a few of my favorites...

hello...

and welcome to my photography site. Taking pictures is something I simply love to do. I started taking photographs in college and mostly shot nature and the outdoors. I loved trying to get different perspectives on ordinary things. This is a tree...now check it out from this angle!
well, life happened and I put my camera in it’s case...until I had kids! What better way to record their childhood than with pictures? (They are worth 1000 words, right?) I am constantly snapping images, trying to save these precious moments that will never happen again. It’s like preserving memories in the form of artwork.
so, I hope you enjoy my pictures as much as I do! And if you ever need somebody to record some of life’s precious moments for you, give me a shout...or just email me at kccarroll@cox.net, I’d love to chat!
