Chubby Pumpkin!

So, I HAD too :-) He will probably detest these when he is 15, but I saw this pumpkin hat and fell in love. What I wouldn't give to see my chubster in it! So here is Mr. Isaac, 10 weeks old today, in his pumpkin hat...(there will probably be a christmas hat too...oh well...he's only this little once right?)

4 Years!

So my sweet sister in law Jenn decided it was time for some "couple" pics. The last ones her and my brother had done were at their wedding 4 years ago! We decided that this could be their anniversary photo shoot since their anniversary is this week :-) I looked online and saw that people actually do anniversary pictures...who knew? Why not right? So here they are...a super fun couple and a great location! Congrats on 4 years guys...and many more to come!

Isaac Benjamin

On August 16th, we were blessed with the arrival of our 3rd son, Isaac. He was born at 6:20pm and was 8lbs. 3oz. and 19 1/2 in long. He has the most fun fluffy blond hair and perfect chubby cheeks :-) I had planned his announcement pictures for several months prior to his birth, so all I was waiting for was him! One thing nice about taking your own pictures is you can do it whenever you and the baby are ready...not having to drive somewhere, arrange feeding schedules, and hope that he is in a good mood. So here they are...and a special thanks to my sister for the super nice crocheted blanket!

Andy, Teal, & Phoebe

Meet Andy and Teal and their sweet pup Phoebe! They are super fun couple, from PA, and we met over at Freestone Park one evening for some AZ pics. This was my first experience shooting with a dog, and she was perfect! You can tell she is super sweet and super loved! Enjoy AZ Andy, Teal and Phoebe!

Birthdays!

So it just so happens that my nieces and nephew all have birthdays in June and July, so my sister in law and I decided to document the beginning of a new year with some new photos. After a huge monsoon storm one Saturday turned out to be the perfect timing and temperature for some fun outside shots! (Despite the mud and frogs...yes frogs...) Here are Collin, Brielle, and Abby's birthday pictures!

Ethan at 6 months!

6 months is such a fun age! Ethan can sit up and explore his world now in different ways...so we decided to encourage that curiosity with some new photo props and ideas. He seemed to take to our ideas, so these super cute photos are the result. Thanks E!

Happy Summer!

So I got this bright idea to take some fun, patriotic pictures of my boys. Rummaged through their closets and only had to buy one shirt...haircuts...saw this cool old truck around the corner from my house...pinwheels and patriotic cookies as fun props...wait did I say fun? Not. Why is it that taking pictures of your own is the most difficult? Difficult subjects...makes all the difference...Landon has the coolest big blue eyes, and put him in front of a camera, no make that MY camera...and he gets all squinty. On purpose. Try to get him to pose? Yeah right, try posing a wet noodle. So out of 93 shots, I got these 8 that might pass for cute. I guess if you can shoot your own, you can shoot anyone!
